The world-renowned, car-free glacier village lies on a hight plateau 1800 meters above sea level, at the foot of the highest Swiss mountains (The Mischabel chain with an elevation of 4.545m).

As well as 100 km of ski slopes (and 45 km more in Saas-Grund and Saas-Almagell), a snowboard park and about 30 km of hiking trails, Saas-Fee offers lots more winter fun for young and seniors alike. Saas-Fee is the destination for sports enthusiasts from all over the world. The snow-guaranteed ski area of Mittle Allalin (3.500m) with its impressive slopes facing the highest Swiss Mountains, offers you a marvellous theater for your winter holidays.

For those who prefer other activities or who have low aged childrens, Saas-Fee offers also a 5 km-long toboggan run (Hannig).

Owing to the fact that no cars are allowed in the village, it has retained its romantic character, and the lively main street invites you to enjoy a gentle stroll round the shops.

The "pearl of the Alps" has managed to match romanticism and a high level ski and resort equipment.
